This original cryogenic 430 stainless steel bass string is up to 35% stronger than standard nickel steel strings and has a nylon wrapped ends to prevent unraveling of the steel wrap wire.

All Blue Steel strings are Cryogenically frozen down to -320ºF, which tightens the molecules, minimizing microscopic gaps in the string. This process removes transient frequencies that produce harsh highs and muddy lows, creating a more consistent string, with true tone and longer life.
