Bob Dylan hits the road with Wilco
beginning June 26 in Palm Beach, FL
 

It’s looking to be yet another great summer tour season for rock fans in 2013! Plenty of big name bands have already begun their tour itineraries and it seems as though a few more rockers are looking to join in with their own plans.

First off we have Robert Plant who has just announced a summer tour ofNorth Americaunder the “Robert Plan Presents the Sensational Space Shifters” moniker. The tour is set to kick of at the Palladium inDallasTXon June 20, finally wrapping p on July 27 inBrooklyn,NY’sProspectPark.

The band will also play five festival dates including Britt inJacksonville,OR, High Sierra inQuincy,CA, Jambase inGeorge,WA, Portland Blues inPortland,OR, and Forecastle inLouisville,KY.

The Sensational Space Shifters include Justin Adams (guitar, bendir, vocals), John Baggott (keyboards), Juldeh Camara (ritti, kologo, talking drum, vocals), Billy Fuller (bass guitar, vocals), Dave Smith (drums and percussion) and Liam "Skin" Tyson (guitar, vocals)

Moving on, Guns N’ Roses are expanding their North American tour dates with the addition of two headlining gigs that will take place in June.

The duo of shows comprise of a June 1st concert at the Lonestar Amphitheater in Lubbock, TX and a June 2nd show at “The” in Kansas City, Missouri.

The band had previous announced appearances at several music festivals this spring and summer including Rocklahoma, River City Rockfest and Governer's Ball.

We’re not through yet as Bob Dylan will be also be hitting road this season, beginning in late June to launch his 26-date "AmericanaramA Festival of Music" summer tour of North America.

The folk rock legend will be supported by Wilco and another band on the tour. Select dates will also include Richard Thompson Electric Trio and Ryan Bingham.

The tour is set to kick off on June 26th at the Cruzan Amphitheatre inWest Palm Beach,Florida, and will conclude on August 4th at the Shoreline Amphitheatre inMountain View,Cal.

And finally, The Allman Brothers Band have announced a short, late summer tour that will include dates with Steve Winwood and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals.

Right on the heels of the band’s second annual Peach Festival – set for August 16th and 17th – the added dates will begin with two “evening with” nights inChicago set for August 20 and 21, followed by ten amphitheater shows, six of which will include Winwood and four with Potter.

"This will be a good little run," says Gregg Allman regarding the added dates. "We've always loved Steve and we've been listening to a lot of Grace's stuff, so I imagine we're going to have a bunch of fun together."
