That’s right Jimi Hendrix has been resurrected to play his first live show in over 40 years this weekend at the Hollywood Bowl, LA in support of his new album Valley Of Neptune.

Some featured artists who will be performing this weekend with Jimi Includes some of the best known and most respected rock, blues and hip hop artists ever. Bassist and backing vocalist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell will handle the rhythm duties for an impromptu “Are You Experienced” flashback. While they will be joined on stage for a salute to blues & rocks glory days with legends like Robert Johnson, Curtis Mayfield, John Lennon and George Harrison. It is rumored that Janis Joplin will make a surprise showing to reignite Woodstock 69 with a killer vocal on Jimi’s “Foxey Lady” and Wu Tang Clans Ol' Dirty Bastard and Tupac Shakur will do a new school hip hop version of “Hey Joe” while Jimi ignites his guitar with burning riffs and his pure virtuosity that we have missed for decades.
