Legendary Bass Master Nathan East has just joined TC Electronic's Artist Roster!
Here's TC Electronics's recent Press Release:

"We are proud to announce that legendary bass player, Nathan East, has joined the Bass Amp 2.0 revolution. Nathan East has been synonymous with ultimate bass sound as well as superior groove, feel and general musicianship for decades. After having tried most high-end bass gear throughout his career, he decided that our Blacksmith bass amp and RS cabinets are the perfect combination for carrying on the legacy of his renowned bass sound in the future. “TC Electronic has always been one of my favorite companies, but has now taken bass amps to the next level with the new Blacksmith! It rocks loads of power, an outstanding tone and even has a built in tuner!”

As a musician of integrity, style and taste, Nathan East has recorded and performed with an extremely wide variety of top pop/rock artists such as Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Quincy Jones, Eric Clapton, Babyface, B.B. King, Elton John, Aretha Franklin, Joe Satriani, Usher, Ray Charles, Toto and countless others. In fact, if you have listened to the radio, you have definitely heard Nathan’s steady groove, musicality and tasteful sound, as he has laid down the bass lines on several Grammy Award-winning albums. Further, Nathan also enjoys a reputation as one of the finest jazz/fusion bass players around, having played with artists like Herbie Hancock, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Al Jarreau and George Benson. In total, Nathan appears on more than a thousand recordings – a very impressive back catalogue and an unquestionable proof of Nathan’s massive bass authority!

Nathan’s overall music philosophy is simple: “I try to see the big picture and approach every song as a new work of art in constant search for the right colors, notes and personality. There’s really no secret; exposure to as many different styles and genres help me navigate the playing field. I still feel like a student and continue to study all types of music.”

Nathan is using the Blacksmith with two RS410 cabinets when touring and the RH750 for session work and at home. It is truly an honor for us that such a distinguished player has chosen to embrace our Bass Amp 2.0 concept – a player with a career simply beyond comparison!"
