It's requests like these that prompted Seymour Duncan's custom shop to get to work on the originally named Custom Custom Custom — today known as the TB-14 Custom 5 Trembucker. This true all–'round bridge pickup covers the gamut of musical settings you're likely to encounter, from the Sunset Strip to Carnegie Hall. It's nice and balanced across the spectrum, with pronounced bass and treble registers and a scooped midrange that supports punchy rhythms to greasy leads. And though it sports a healthy humbucker output — around 14.8kΩ DCR — the TB-14 Custom 5 Trembucker cleans up with a touch of the volume knob, giving you true cleans that roar to life with a roll of the pinky. The TB-4's F-spaced pole pieces make it ideal for trem-equipped guitars or instruments with wide-spaced hardtails.
